As I was preparing to write about "Shantytown" on Third Street - now Providence Road - in the 1935-40 era, a song came to mind that I sang back in 1937-38. It was "Shanty in Old Shanty Town." I had forgotten all the words, so I called my son Bill to get on the Internet and Google the song lyrics.
